Mr Xu Lejiang chairman and vice president Mr Dai Zhihao of Group Corporation went to Bayi Steel for investigation and research. Mr Xu Lejiang paid a visit to Bayi Steel New Area B blast furnace production and construction site visited and extended regards to the cadres and workers from all nationalities of Bayi Steel production line and had a discussion with the related leaders of Bayi Steel. Mr Xu Lejiang affirmed the achievements that Bayi Steel had achieved in recent years hoped that Bayi Steel could seize the development opportunities and become the most competitive steel enterprise in Xinjiang and even Central Asian region.
In the morning, accompanied by Mr Zhao Xia vice president of Group Corporation, chairman and party secretary of Bayi Steel and other leaders, Mr Xu Lejiang, Mr Dai Zhihao went to Bayi Steel New Area B blast furnace, coke, new rod lines, plate production site and the C blast furnace construction site which is under construction for investigations and study, and amiably extended regards to the hard working cadres and workers of Bayi Steel from all ethnic groups. On the sites of blast furnaces and coke ovens, Mr Xu Lejiang learned about the production operation conditions, and asked in detail about the blast furnace production indicators as well as the tar, asphalt and other products'' production conditions.
On the C blast furnace construction site, Mr Xu Lejiang got to know the progress of the project, construction quality, equipment installation and other situation one by one. During the investigations and studies, when learning that the new rod line has reached productive targets just after it was put into operation more than two months ago and the production and market conditions are both very good, Mr Xu Lejiang was quite glad and showed approval for everyone''s work.
After the on-site investigations and studies, Mr Xu Lejiang and other leaders had a discussion with the related departments of Bayi Steel and the persons in charge of the units. Mr Chen Zhongkuan president of Bayi Steel reported Bayi Steel production and management work in the first half of the year. In the first half of this year, Bayi Steel production and management has made gratifying achievements among them, the new area blast furnace production made great progress, the key indicators of sintering, hot-rolling and other processes reached superior level of the industry, the new rod line reached productive targets just after it was put into operation more than two months ago, quality steel development, marketing, procurement and other work all achieved better results. In addition, the newly built slag micro powder project which was just put into operation had considerable benefits.
Mr Xu Lejiang expressed full approval of Bayi Steel work he said that Bayi Steel''s cadres and workers team of all nationalities possessed high qualities did solid work and achieved encouraging results. At present, Xinjiang has entered a period of great development, Bayi Steel should tightly grasp this golden opportunity and accelerate the pace of development. Baosteel Group has not changed its standpoint to construct Bayi Steel into the most competitive steel enterprise in Xinjiang and even Central Asian region.
Mr Xu Lejiang hoped that Bayi Steel further explore the market in a more meticulous and precise way, attach great importance to personnel training, ride on the east wind of the rapid development of Xinjiang make tremendous changes and achieve greater leap through the 12th five-year planning and the 13th five year planning.
